From a Journey of Discovery to Building Hope: "Sycha" and the Next Step
Allow me to share with you the story of this passionate journey: how the concept of the "Sycha" platform was born, and how it intersected halfway with the vision of the "Made in Iraq" initiative.
I spent more than fifteen years in Switzerland. There, I learned a great deal about business management and the importance of quality, organization, and trust in building successful and sustainable markets. I worked across diverse sectors, including transportation, logistics, tourism, and hospitality. Each milestone served as a new school for me, and every challenge I faced imparted a deep lesson in patience, positive thinking, and continuous development.
Yet, despite success, learning, and stability abroad, a quiet voice within always reminded me of home and my people. A persistent question never left my mind: Why don't we have a robust digital commerce ecosystem in Iraq that enables our national products to truly compete? Why do young Iraqi brands and initiatives remain confined to a narrow local scope, when they possess the creativity, quality, and authenticity to reach anywhere in the world?
From the heart of this question, and out of continuous reflection and search for practical solutions, the "Sycha" platform was born.
To me, "Sycha" is not merely a website or e-commerce application for buying and selling products; it is a vision and a mission. It is a statement of belief that Iraqis are capable of creating modern, competitive alternatives, and that local products possess all the elements of success and excellence if provided with the right opportunity, proper tools, and supportive framework to safeguard their effort and craftsmanship.
When I studied the Iraqi market closely, I observed great vitality and rapid growth in digital commerce, as well as thousands of ambitious youth and merchants working with absolute determination to build their own enterprises.
However, I also noticed a major barrier standing in the way of their sustainability: high commissions and additional fees imposed by traditional platforms, which consume a large share of profits for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and limit their ability to expand and grow.
Here arose the urgent need for "Sycha"; to serve as a fair, simple, and practical alternative. We aimed to build an integrated digital environment that empowers Iraqi merchants and manufacturers to showcase their products and scale their businesses without burdensome financial costs, while making it easy and reliable for local and international consumers to access Iraqi goods.

Today, our focus is on foundation and empowerment, moving forward with deliberate and confident steps to deliver an integrated experience that supports the national economy and elevates the profile of high-quality Iraqi products.
Along this journey, my goals and aspirations aligned with the "Made in Iraq" initiative, which strives diligently to open new horizons for national products and connect them with international markets and advanced expertise.

Working toward this goal is not an individual task or a one-person effort; it is a shared responsibility and a hope carried by everyone who aspires to a better tomorrow for this country. I am delighted to be part of this dynamic path and to place all the expertise and insights I have gained at the service of ambitious and passionate minds across my beloved country.
To every young man and woman in Iraq holding a dream or a small project: never underestimate your efforts or your ideas, no matter how simple they may seem at first. Iraq is full of promising opportunities, and great achievements are built on patience, sincere work, and continuous learning.
